Someone in our discord has experience with MAC and came up with a solution! MAC unfortunately has a lot of permission errors with renpy games, so that's why it wouldn't work for some MAC users. 

Please follow one of the following methods to try to get the game to work!

1) Change your permissions by following this link: https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/open-a-mac-app-from-an-unidentified-dev... This will change permissions so that 'unidentified developers' (in this case it's renpy games) will be able to run.

If neither of these methods work, please join our discord. Not many of us have MAC experience so it was difficult to figure out how to help you guys out. Another discord user said this method has worked for them though and I'm sure Rene would be able to offer you additional help if need be.
